I’m a professional interior designer that has chosen Virtual Interior Design as my favorite way of working with people. Virtual Interior Design, also known as edecorating or edecor, is the process of having your space custom designed for you by a professional interior designer for you to implement the design yourself. Meaning, I provide you with a plan to create a beautiful, comfortable pulled together room yourself. I treat you with the attention & customer service that I provide any of my local clients. I’m excited to be able to reach so many different people! Everyone should have a well designed home. Here’s how the process goes…

Select a room or rooms that you’d like me to design.

Send me an email stating which room/rooms you’ve selected for me to design.

I will send you an invoice. I must receive your payment before I begin working on your amazing home. I will also send you directions for measuring your room for me as well as The House Inquiry (example below), a questionnaire for you to fill out so that I can get to know you & your room.

When you’ve answered The House Inquiry & taken measurements of the room/rooms I’m designing for you, email them to me. I’ll then contact you to set up a time to meet via phone, Skype or email, whichever you prefer.  This step is very important to me; it’s when I get to know you & your home. It’s also when you get to ask me all of your questions.

We have our phone, Skype or email appointment! This is the BEST part for me. I can’t wait to meet you. I learn so much talking and listening to you. I will also throw some ideas to you, possibly send you pictures. This step depends a lot on where I find my inspiration for your home. I’ll share it with you at this time, regardless of the form!  This call will last around 30 minutes & can be scheduled anytime that works for you.

Now I get to work designing an amazing space for you! Each room takes me a maximum of 3 weeks to complete. I will send you an email the day I send you the House Designed Plan, I ship it USPS Priority mail. I can’t wait to hear what you think.

Jamie House Design Pricing

The House Designed Plan includes…

• The original concept plan & file, this is what I use to pull your project together, style images etc. Also included in your file is your floorplan & project lists.

  • The Project List includes…

    • House Paint Specifications, window treatment details & cabinet/built-in drawings.

    • The House Implementation list, which is an overall plan for completing your home. This is only my recommendation, you may implement the plan as you see fit.

    • The House Shopping List, a detailed list to make purchases super easy. No stress, this is the fun stuff!

      

• The House Project Boards details your floorplan, elevations & perspectives as needed, paint colors, fabric samples, detailed drawings of window treatments proposed, ect as your room requires.

  

• House To Go. A purse sized shopping helper to remind you of your room dimensions, paint colors, items to purchase, etc as needed & appropriate. House To Go is perfect for those times when you see the perfect chair but can’t remember if it’s fit or match the room. If I design more than one room for you I combine the rooms in the House To Go so you don’t need to carry around multiple sets, lightweight purses are the key to happy shopping you know.

You will receive a separate House Designed Plan for every room that I design for you.
